Meet Clifford...
Clifford attained a Certificate in Engineering from Mount Allison University in 1969 and began training as a real estate appraiser with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation in 1970. He filled a variety of appraisal positions with CMHC in Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia before transferring to Saint John in 1981 as Real Estate Manager. Having fulfilled that job mandate, he chose to leave CMHC in 1984 and joined the private appraisal firm, then de Stecher, Miller & Associates Ltd.
Clifford has been called upon to appraise a wide variety of properties for numerous purposes and has appeared numerous times before the Courts and other judicial bodies. He has also participated in a number of successful arbitrations. Clifford has served on the Committee of Examiners of the N.B. Association of Real Estate Appraisers and on the volunteer Board of Saint John Non Profit Housing Inc.
Clifford’s knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), CAD software and a variety of mapping tools helps clients visualize properties, allowing for greater clarity and understanding.
